Lilly

Our world-traveling Lilly has already visited many parts of the globe, made international friends, and had the privilege of getting to know many different cultures. After successfully completing her studies in social economics in Nuremberg, she finally decided to follow her roots and her dream of living in harmony with nature. So, she moved back to Kleinsendelbach to her grandparents’ farmhouse to breathe new life into the farm. Together with our long-time family friend Cori, she finally founded the Hof vErde project here in 2018. She brings her educational experience from scouting, university life, and guitar lessons to the educational side of the project. She has a great passion for passing on knowledge about food production and is excited about the implementation of various agroforestry cultivation systems. In addition to her musical talent, Lilly also enriches us as an organizational artist and is involved in agricultural feminist activism.

Leo

Leo finally became a full-time member of the project in 2024, after having been involved remotely from the very beginning. She is Lilly’s sister and therefore grew up here with her. Before returning to the farm, Leo lived in Berlin for many years and spent a lot of time traveling and always looking for new adventures. She has a background in film, journalism, and cultural/media management. She is often seen with a camera in her hand, as photography and filmmaking are among her great passions! In this spirit, she also manages the project’s social media channels. She takes on many office tasks and is our contact person for topics such as association and grant management as well as project administration. In addition to syntropy and sustainable living, she is particularly interested in arts and culture, storytelling, queer feminism, and long-distance hiking.

Moritz

Moritz enriches our team with his enormous optimism, commitment, and drive. He is Lilly’s partner and has been living here on the farm since 2025. Moritz is an enthusiastic vegetable grower, mushroom collector, and plant lover. Living an ecologically sustainable life is very important to him, and he often leads by example and comes up with great ideas in this area. In addition to his work in the garden and in the fields, he is also an elementary school teacher and therefore contributes a wealth of educational expertise to our project. He brought his two sister dogs, Mila and Enola, with him to our farm, and they are now also part of our farmily.

Georg

For Lilly and Leo’s father Georg, the farm here is a living part of his family history. He knows the farm and the surrounding land like the back of his hand. He is particularly skilled at solving complicated problems in innovative ways using simple means. Georg is our technical expert and is the only one who knows all the ins and outs of the tractors and machines on our farm, which have been passed down through generations. He also knows where every cable and pipe was laid 30 years ago, which has saved us a lot of headaches! In his free time, Georg volunteers for local and regional associations and is also a passionate bowling enthusiast.
